Mysuru: Dr. Mahesh Rao, CEO of Mysuru based Aashaya Design Solutions and also the President of The Indus Entrepreneur (TIE), Mysuru, observed that times have changed with rapid development of Science and Technology and now parents are encouraging  their wards to establish companies through startups.

He was delivering a lecture on the topic ‘Opportunities and Challenges in Starting a Venture’ organised as part of World Entrepreneurship Day at the Institution of Engineers, JLB Road here recently.

Now parents are asking their children to establish startups and thus become an entrepreneur, he said adding that this change of mindset is encouraging.

Noting that  changes in business, commercial activities, economical  progress  and the like that are occurring in our country is the reason behind the change in parental mindset, he opined that young entrepreneurs are learning the nuances of trade and Industry and at the same time getting experience on important matters that drive commerce and Industry in the country.
