Pata Kunita, theatre songs and street play captivate audience

Students of Vishwashanthi PU College, Mysuru, presenting Pata Kunita at Vanaranga in Rangayana last evening as part of Bahuroopi Theatre Festival.

Mysuru: The second day of Bahuroopi at Rangayana yesterday featured thought-provoking plays with depiction of contemporary social problems. Ranga Sangama troupe from Mysuru presented a street play focussing on migration of farmers to city, facing the hardships there and returning to villages at Kindarijogi premises in Rangayana.

At Vanaranga, students of Vishwashanthi PU College, Mysuru, presented Pata Kunita and Lakshman Das and troupe presented an array of theatre songs.

Rangayana artistes presented the play ‘Moovaru Akkathangiyaru’ at Bhoomigeeta. Artistes of Vivaadi from Delhi, presented the play ‘Jeevith Ya Mrith’ in Hindi at Mini Auditorium in Kalamandira premises focussing on problems of real life.
