Pedalling for Health

Mysore/Mysuru: Karnataka State Reserve Police (KSRP) had organised a cycle jatha in city recently to create awareness about the importance of health and fitness.

KSRP ADGP Alok Kumar flagged off the event, which was held as part of KSRP Utsav in association with Fit India Movement in front of Kote Anjaneyaswamy Temple premises, near Palace North Gate. 

Hundreds of participants pedalled cycles through K.R. Circle, JLB Road, Ramaswamy Circle, Saraswathipuram Fire Station, Kalamandira, Hunsur Road, Metropole Circle, Railway Station Circle, Highway Circle, LIC Circle, Fountain Circle, SP Office Circle and Nazarbad to reach  the KSRP unit on Lalitha Mahal Road.

KSRP DIG Vikas Kumar, Commandant R. Janardhan, DCP Dr. A.N. Prakash Gowda, Ramakrishna Muddepal of Munirabad PTS, Bijapur KSRP Deputy Commandant B.D. Lokesh and others were present. 

Staff members of KSRP, CAR, DAR, KPA, Fire Stations, Health Department, Police Public School, Canara Bank, Narayana Multispeciality Hospital, Gopalagowda Shanthaveri Memorial Hospital as well as members of District Cycling Association, Youth Hostel, NCC, Home Guards and other organisations participated in the cycle jatha.
