Pejawar Seer inaugurates free health check-up camp

Mysore/Mysuru: “A human being should do his duties in the form of service. Service to the poor and weak reaches directly to the Lord. ‘Nishkama Karma’, service to the society is equal to service to God,” said Sri Vishwaprasanna Theertha Swamiji of Pejawar Mutt, Udupi.

He was addressing the gathering on Monday after inaugurating a free health check-up camp on the occasion of the 70th birthday celebrations of Mata Amritanandamayi and week-long event “Sevanavaram” organised by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Mysuru Campus, Amrita Kripa Hospital and Mata Amritanandamayi Mutt, Mysuru.

Highlighting the evolving perspective on service, Sri Swamiji astutely analysed the societal transformation, expressing concerns that resources intended for service could potentially be misused in some instances.

Dr. Vikas Modi shed light on the array of complimentary medical services provided by Amrita Kripa Hospital.
