Pensioners Day on Dec. 17

Mysore/Mysuru: Railway Pensioners Welfare Association will be celebrating Pensioners  Day on Dec. 17 at 10.30 am at SC/ST Association auditorium on Seshadri Iyer Road in city. 

Senior Divisional Personal Officer and Divisional Financial Manager will be the chief guest. Association President Parthasarathy will preside. Working President C.G. Krishna and General Secretary G.S. Swaminathan will address the gathering.

Staff of the Railway Pension Section, who have done outstanding service to pensioners will be felicitated on the occasion. 

AGM on Dec. 20: The Annual General Body Meeting (AGM) of the Association will be held on Dec. 20 at 10 am at Sri Basaweshwara Kalyana Mantap at Vinayakanagar in city.

Due to COVID-19 pandemic, thermal screening will be done and members are urged to compulsorily wear face mask and maintain social distancing.

Association President Parthasarathy will preside, General Secretary G.S. Swaminathan will present the annual report and Treasurer A. Dyavanna will present accounts and audit report for the year 2019-20, according to a press release.

Meanwhile, the Central Government Pensioners’ Association (CGPA), Mysuru, has cancelled its Annual General Body Meeting (AGM) in the wake of the pandemic, according to Association President Dr. T.S. Sathyanarayana Rao.
