With Lok Sabha polls round the corner, the Centre has cut fuel prices by Rs. 2 a litre with effect from today morning. Accordingly, the price of Petrol stands at Rs. 99.40 a Litre (earlier Rs.101.52) and Diesel at Rs. 85.54 (earlier Rs. 87.49) a litre in the city. Recently, the Centre had cut the price of domestic LPG cylinder by Rs. 100, which had brought some relief in households.
