Former Asian Tour winner Digvijay Singh of Gurugram and Lucknow’s Sanjeev Kumar, last year’s runner-up, took the early lead at the CG Open 2018 as the duo posted scores of six-under-64 at the Bombay Presidency Golf Club (BPGC) on Wednesday. Mysuru lad M.S. Yashas Chandra (JWGC) returned with a first day’s card of four-under-66 and is placed joint fourth.
Sri Lankan Mithun Perera was placed third at five-under-65. Digvijay Singh, a 10th tee starter, came up with a flawless 64.
Another Mysuru lad I.L. Aalaap returned with a card of seven-over-77.
