Mysuru: The University of Mysore (UoM) has awarded Ph.D in Kannada to Gubbi Goodu Ramesh for his thesis ‘P. Lankesh Kathana: Adhunika Samajika Samrachane Tathvikate.’ He worked under the guidance of Dr. N.K. Lolakshi. Thinker Gubbi Goodu Ramesh is a columnist of Mysooru Mithra Kannada daily, a sister publication of Star of Mysore.
