H.S. Smitha Rao has been awarded Ph.D in Physics by the University of Mysore (UoM) for her thesis ‘A Theoretical Study of Optimum Measurement Using Newly Constructed Mutually Disjoint Maximally Commuting Set of Operators and their Geometric Interpretation’ submitted under the guidance of Dr. Swarnamala Sirsi.
