Somy Augustine has been awarded Ph.D in English by the University of Mysore (UoM), for her thesis titled ‘Reclaiming the Indigenous Voice: A Comparative Study of the Fiction of Ruby Slipperjack and Richard Wagamese’ submitted under the guidance of Dr. K. Yeshoda Nanjappa.
