Ph.D awardees

Mysuru: The University of Mysore (UoM)  has awarded  Ph.D degree in Kannada to R. Lokesha for his thesis “Mysuru Vishwavidyanilayada Prasaranga” under the guidance of Dr. B.P. Ashakumari.

The UoM has awarded Ph.D in History to Rohini Sangappa Dalavai for her thesis  “Renaissance in Princely Mysore (1861-1940)”. She worked under the guidance of Dr. Aswathanarayana.

UoM has awarded Ph.D in Computer Science to N.Shobha Rani for her thesis “An Enhanced Framework for Pre-Processing and Character Recognition Systems Suitable for Telugu Documents” submitted under the guidance of Dr. T. Vasudev.

Bhargavi R. Gopal, Asst. Director (Official Language), Defence Food Research Laboratory (DFRL), Siddarthanagar, was awarded Ph.D in Hindi for her thesis “Application, Implementation and Management of Official Language in Central Government Offices situated  in Mysore” by Dakshina Bharath Hindi Prachar Sabha, Chennai. She was guided by Dr. Sathish Kumar Pandey, Principal of Hindi Prachar Sabha.
