Marking International Women’s Day, an exhibition of photographs of about 50 women achievers was organised by Maharani’s College of Commerce and Management at its premises on JLB Road in city recently.
Inaugurating the expo, Advocate M.N. Sumana asked women to be bold and confident to face the world. Stressing on the importance of women, she said that discussions were on globally to come out with an International Day without women.
Singer and College alumnus K.S. Surekha inaugurated the stage programme. Sand Sculptor Gowri was the chief guest. College Principal Dr. Annegowda presided. Convenor M. Shivanna and others were present on the occasion.
