Piyush Goyal visits Palace

Mysuru: Union Minister Piyush Goyal, who was in city on a one-day tour, visited the Mysore Palace last evening.

He was received by Palace Board Deputy Director Dr. T.S. Subramanya, who also felicitated him with a shawl, garland and Mysuru Peta.

The Minister spent about an hour at the Palace and expressed his happiness over the maintenance of the heritage structure thus, in the Visitors Book:

“What a wonderful experience! Magnificent Palace, beautifully maintained and delighted to see the enthusiasm of the ‘Team’ looking after this rich heritage of India. I am sure, everyone who visits the Mysore Palace will remember it all his life. My best wishes to all the people of Mysore and Karnataka.”

The Minister was accompanied by Mysuru-Kodagu MP Pratap Simha, BJP City President Dr. B.H. Manjunath, General Secretary H.V. Rajeev, BJP leaders Phaneesh, Satish and others.
