Mysore/Mysuru: A social activist has lodged a complaint with Lokayukta Police, against eight doctors of K.R. Hospital in city including the Medical Superintendent, accusing them of dereliction of duty.
President of Karunada Sanghatakaru, Mysuru Division, M.B. Naganna Gowda has filed the complaint against Medical Officers of K.R. Hospital Dr. Chandrashekar, Dr. Lokesh, Dr. Nishchitha, Dr. Kushal, Dr. B.N. Ananda Ravi, Dr. R.D. Manjunath and Dr. Roopa and Medical Superintendent Dr. Nanjundaswamy.
“The Medical Officers who were supposed to be on duty at MSB Ward No. 5 in the Hospital on July 9 were not in place and the Medical Superintendent who holds a responsible position showed dereliction in duty. The doctors are playing with the lives by not being available on the spot. The Post-Graduate students gave a false information that the doctors were at emergency, misleading others without providing correct information about their non-availability. Even when checked at the emergency, the doctors were not seen there also,” Gowda has alleged in his complaint.
