Mysore/Mysuru: With the monsoon session of Parliament commencing yesterday, Mysuru-Kodagu MP Pratap Simha on Monday met Union Tourism Minister G. Kishan Reddy at New Delhi and appealed him to approve the new plan under ‘PRASAD’ (Pilgrimage Rejuvenation and Spiritual Augmentation Drive) scheme for the development of Chamundi Hill.
Pointing out that the ‘PRASAD’ plan proposal for development of Chamundi Hill was first sent to the Centre four years ago, Simha said that the proposal failed to get nod as it was incomplete and incorrect. As such, a new proposal has been sent to the Union Tourism Ministry for approval and the Ministry should clear the new proposal at the earliest, MP Simha appealed the Union Minister. The Ministry Joint Director Rupinder Brar and Under Secretary S.S. Varma were present on the occasion.
