Sir,
The presently running Tipu Express and Chamundi Express trains’ coach composition consists of just a single AC coach (that is, AC Chair Car Coach- C1) apart from general sitting coaches. It is ironical to note that no effort is yet made by the authorities concerned to augment an additional air conditioned chair coaches in these two popular trains running between Bengaluru and Mysuru, as the trains have been operating since long on this route.
The non-availability of an additional AC coach is thus highly causing inconvenience to many passengers during the day time. At times owing to popular demand and the need to travel by AC coaches, the waitlist numbers surges resulting only in the need for an extra coach augmentation.
Hence it is hereby requested to the South Western Railway authorities at Mysuru Division to now urgently consider augmentation of an additional AC Chair Coach (that is, Coach C2) to both Tipu Express and Chamundi Express.
The move will further benefit the passengers of Bengaluru-Talaguppa Express and Bengaluru-Hubballi Siddaganga Express and Bengaluru-Mysuru Rajya Rani Express; as both Tipu Express and Chamundi Express also have rake sharing arrangement on daily basis with these three trains.
