This is one of the many clogged drains near KSCB Colony at Kalyangirinagar. Following rains, the rain water overflows from the clogged drain bringing with it the dirt and wastes accumulated in the drain on to the road which sometime enters houses in low-lying places. Residents say that despite lodging several complaints with the civic authorities and also to the local elected representative, no action has been taken till date to clean the drain. Authorities concerned are urged to take steps at the earliest.
