Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) gave us a surprise today morning when a JCB was plunged into action and started digging the footpath to provide the Rain Water Drain (RWD) on Kalidasa Road. It is nice that some improvement work is happening to clear the rain water effectively.
These are planned works and the concerned could have notified the residents in advance through paper notification in the public interest before commencing the work so that we could have made suitable arrangements to minimise the inconvenience caused.
Now that the RWD digging has begun and noticed a group of manual labourers engaged in the work, it is a request on behalf of the users of Kalidasa Road to the MCC and the service provider to complete the work duly taking all the precautions in not disrupting the existing Water, Drainage, Electricity and Internet lines in the area and check the progress regularly for the satisfactory completion of the quality of the awarded work and clear the debris within a minimum possible time.
