Sir,
Recently I went to Hosa Kannambadi to visit the Venugopalaswamy temple in KRS backwaters. Looks like the temple is closed since covid-induced lockdown. Even though other temples are opened for devotees, this temple is still shut.
Just 2 kms before reaching the temple there is a board which says the ‘Temple is closed for Public.’ I could see that there were a good number of visitors who were all disappointed to know that the temple was closed.
When we reached the Tollgate they collected a fee of Rs. 50. When enquired about the opening time of the temple they told us that they don’t have any information about it. We are sure that in spite of having information that the temple is closed they did not disclose this to us so that they could collect the toll.
I request the authorities concerned to please keep the public informed so that they don’t waste their time, money and effort in travelling all the way to Venugopalaswamy temple.
