Plea to ply more buses via Nanjangud and Mysuru

Sir,

I appeal to KSRTC Mysuru Division to ply more buses between Nanjangud and Mysuru during peak hours (8 to 10 in the mornings), to quell the mad rush, not only at the main bus stand but also at the Vishweshwaraiah Circle (Hullahalli Circle) where the crowd is almost double, reason being the Shakti-scheme-induced free journey for women, office-goers and students, who are in huge numbers.

Also, buses halt a few yards BEFORE the dedicated bus shelter at this Circle, blocking free movement of vehicles that follow, leading to heavy line-up, causing chaos.

Through this column, I appeal KSRTC to run more buses in the mornings and also strictly instruct its drivers to stop buses close to the bus shelter.
