The South Western Railway (SWR) website states that due to track doubling in Belagavi, Vishwamanava Express that runs between Mysuru and Belagavi has been cancelled from 22.6.2022 to 28.6.2022.
This decision is against the daily commuters who will be facing a lot of hardship. Hence, I request the SWR to operate Vishwamanava Express from Mysuru to Hubballi and back or Mysuru to Birur and back between June 22 and 28.
To understand the ground situation, the SWR authorities may inspect the train from Mandya to Bengaluru City and from Bengaluru to Mysuru.
On behalf of hundreds of travellers, I request the Railways to immediately restore and operate this train.
I also appeal to Mysuru-Kodagu Pratap Simha and Mandya MP Sumalatha Ambarish to talk to the Union Railway Minister and get the approval to operate Vishwamanava Express from Mysuru – Hubballi or Mysuru – Birur and back.
I hope an immediate decision will be given for operating the train for the cancelled dates.
