Plea to revise timings of Mysuru-Chamarajanagar train

Sir,

We are aware that five trains were running on a daily basis from Mysuru to Chamarajanagar. There were two passenger and two express trains.

The running time of the passenger trains was such that the very first train reached Chamarajanagar before 7 am and the second train reached Chamarajanagar at 9.10 am. These timings were very much suitable to those going to work in Chamarajanagar.

But after the stoppage of these trains due to Covid-19 and when restarted, the  passenger train timings were changed. The first passenger train reaching Chamarajanagar is at its pre- covid times but the arrival of the second passenger train is at 10.50 am. This timing is not at all suitable for employees.

I have made several requests to the Railway Officials and  the Railway Minister to get the second passenger train (Train No. 06223) to run in such a way that it reaches Chamarajanagar at 9.10 am but in vain. On behalf of the travelling public, I would like to draw the attention of the Railway authorities to look into this issue and help the travellers.
