Bengaluru: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will interact with Chief Ministers of 6 States on July 16 and also hold a review meeting to know the ongoing COVID situation in the respective States.
Chief Ministers from Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Odisha, Maharashtra and Kerala will interact with Narendra Modi as the cases have increased in these States creating a panic situation.
On July 13, Modi held a virtual meeting with 8 Chief Ministers of North Eastern States. Modi expressed concern over spreading of pandemic and urged to control crowd gathering at hill stations.
The PM also wanted to ensure that people wear mask compulsorily and maintain social distancing while at public and tourist places.
