Social Welfare Department and District in-Charge Minister Dr. H.C. Mahadevappa will symbolically launch the Pradhan MantriPoshan Shakti Nirman (PM POSHAN) Mid-day Meal Scheme at the High School in Maharaja’s PU College premises on JLB Road in city tomorrow (Aug. 21) at 10 am.Under the Scheme, mid-day meals will be provided to students from Class 1 to 10 along with egg.
Those who don’t consume egg will be given banana or groundnut chikki so as to provide good nutrition to the children’s growth, according to a press release from Zilla Panchayat Dasoha Programme PM POSHAN Educational Officer.
