Mysuru: The Tamil Nadu Handicrafts Development Corporation Limited has organised a 10-day craft exhibition ‘Poompuhar’ at Nanjaraja Bahadur Choultry from May 11 to 20.
The expo was inaugurated by Mayor M.J. Ravikumar recently.
The exhibition displays wide and exotic collection of heritage items like Brass oil lamps, Bronze Icons, Wood Carvings, Thanjavur Art Plates, Thanjavur Painting, Stone carvings,Artificial Jewellery, Brass sheet metal products, Paper machine dolls, Incense and perfumery, Rajasthan Marble craft items, Madupani Paintings from Bihar, Wood Carvings from Andhra Pradesh, Palm leaf paintings from Orissa, handcrafted textiles and many more gift items. Handicrafts from all over India are displayed under one roof.
The expo will be open from 10 am to 8 pm everyday including Sundays.
A special discount of 10 percent is offered on products displayed at the exhibition.
