Mysore/Mysuru: Bhushans’ Academy of Performing Arts and Visual Presentation, Mysuru, headed by internationally acclaimed Bharatanatyam Guru Badari Divya Bhushan and Dr. Anjana Bhushan, has come up with the second segment of Poshaka Bhushana International Classical Dance Festival on Dec. 30 at 5.45 pm at Vasudevacharya Bhavan on JLB Road in city.
5.50 pm: Established eminent dancers of Mysuru — Badari Divya Bhushan, Dr. Anjana Bhushan, Dr. Chethana Radhakrishna, Dr. Nagalakshmi Nagarajan. Vidushi Sreelakshmi Kumar and Vidushi Sindhu Kiran — will be presenting a conceptual presentation on Mysore Sadashivarao’s compositions. Concept, audio by Dr. Sreedhara Akkihebbalu, USA.
6.45 pm: Bharatanatyam exponent Ramya Harishankar and Aparna Dance Company, USA, will be presenting “SHE,” a unique classical choreography.
7.45 pm: Renowned Bharatanatyam exponents Prasanna Kasthuri, USA and Pulikeshi Kasthuri, Bengaluru, will be presenting “Beral ge Koral” based on Rastrakavi Kuvempu’s Drama.
Entry for the art connoisseurs is free.
Ramya Harishankar will also be conducting a workshop on abhinaya at Bhushans’ Academy on Dec. 31 at 10.30 am.
