The Postal Adalat, organised once in three months by the Department of Posts, saw no takers at the office of the Senior Superintendent of Posts at Yadavagiri Post Office here yesterday.
Not deterred by the damp squib, Senior Superintendent of Posts B. Shivaiah, speaking to Star of Mysore, said that the cold response could mean that the customers were happy with the Postal service with no significant grievances. He recalled that none participated in the Postal Adalat held in December last and only five attended the previous to that in September.
Shivaiah further said that the grievances, if any, regarding Postal service could be sent in writing through post or online and added that probably owing to those options, many customers may not opt to air their grievances in person.
He recalled that in 2015, there were some problems in the software which have been rectified now thus extending good service to customers.
Superintendent of Posts Vasudev was present.
