Bengaluru: With the BJP losing power in the Assembly polls, State Advocate General Prabhuling Navadgi quit his post on Sunday.
Navadgi submitted his resignation letter to Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot at Raj Bhavan here yesterday afternoon.
Navadgi, who was appointed as Advocate General in May 2018 after B.S. Yediyurappa took oath as the Chief Minister, later resigned from the post on May 31 after Yediyurappa failed to prove majority in the Floor of the House. But he was again appointed as the Advocate General after BSY once again became the CM after the collapse of JD(S)-Congress coalition Government in July 2019. Since then he was holding the post and now with the defeat of the BJP, he has tendered his resignation.
