Mysuru: The social service unit of Prajapita Brahmakumari Ishwariya Vishvavidyalaya, Lashkar Mohalla Branch on Irwin Road is celebrating International Women’s Day on Mar.8 at 6.30 pm.
Rajayogi teacher B.K. Sharadaraji will preside. Rajayoga Institution’s Principal B.K. Ranganath will be present. Former Hanur MLA Parimala Nagappa will be the guest of honour.
On the occasion, a competition has been organised for women, titled ‘Samskrithiya Samrakshakalagi Mahile’ (Woman as preserver of culture). The winners will be distributed prizes, said Chief Convenor B.K. Veenaji in a press release.
Women’s Day by ICSI
The ICSI-Mysore Chapter in association with MBA Department of GSSS Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women is celebrating Women’s Day tomorrow between 11.30 am and 12.30 pm at GSSSIETW premises with the theme “Women Empowerment & Inclusive Growth.” Aishwarya Sunaad, Student-cum-Social Entrepreneur and Sushma, Managing Trustee, Jana Seva Trust, will be the special guests for the day.
