Prajwal gets 14-day judicial custody

Bengaluru:  Former Hassan MP Prajwal Revanna, who has been arrested in the case of sexual assault, has been remanded to judicial custody till June 24.

Prajwal, who was arrested in the case on May 31, had been remanded to the custody of Special Investigation Team (SIT) for 14 days. As the period of his Police custody ended, 42nd Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (ACMM) Court remanded Prajwal to judicial custody, following which he has been lodged in Parappana Agrahara Central Prison here on Monday.

Prior to this, Prajwal was taken to his Basavanagudi residence for mahazar. Following this, he was produced before 42nd ACMM Court. When the Judge asked Prajwal about any inconvenience faced during his Police custody, the latter said no.
