Mysuru: Jayachamaraja Urs Education Trust had organised Sri Vani Fun Fest at the premises of Sri Vani Vilas Urs Girls PU and Degree College in Nazarbad this morning. The students of the college had set up 40 stalls with lot of intelligent games and food joints. A cultural programme was also held along with a magic show by Jadagar Sudarshan. A short film on ‘Save Earth-Save Life’ was also screened. Contributions were collected for Kodagu flood relief.
Inaugurating the programme by watering a sapling and releasing balloons, Trust Chief Patron Pramoda Devi Wadiyar asked the students to be aware of saving the environment. She also suggested them to make the best use of the Spoken English Classes started at the college recently to hone their communication skills. She assured the students that a canteen would be opened at the college soon.
Trust Honorary Secretary Mahesh N. Urs, Joint Secretary Sreekantaraje Urs, Degree College Principal Nanjunda Swamy, PU College Principal J.C. Anita and others were present.
