Mysuru: Bharatiya Jain Sanghatan (BJS), Mysuru, had organised a programme to present ‘Pratibha Puraskar’ to meritorious students of Jain community at Mahaveer Bhavan in city recently.
M.R. Sunil Kumar, President of Digambar Jain Samaj, inaugurated the programme.
A total of 45 students, including Doctors, Engineers, Chartered Accountants as well as students from PUC and SSLC, who had excelled in the last academic year, were felicitated with silver medals and certificates.
Ashok Dantewadia, President of Swetambar Jain Samaj, Kailashchand Bohra, President of Sthanakwasi Jain Samaj, Uttamchandji Battewada, President of Terapanth Jain Samaj, Prem Kumar, President of Mahajan Friends Circle, Budhmal Bagmar, Prakash Srisrimaal, President of BJS Mysore, Ashok Salecha, Regional President of BJS, Dr. Vikram S. Jain, Project Coordinator, Prakash Gulecha, Secretary of BJS Mysore, Dr. Madanlal Jain and others were present. Prakash Srisrimaal welcomed. Prakash Gulecha presented a report on the activities and introduced Bharatiya Jain Sanghatan.
Deepak Bohra, Vice-President of BJS Mysuru compered the programme. Dr. Vikram S. Jain proposed a vote of thanks.
While programme was sponsored by Mahajan Friends Circle, food was sponsored by Sohanlal Baghmar.
