Mysuru: With Mysuru City losing on completing a hat trick as the Cleanest City in the country, the District Administration seems to have taken the matter seriously in getting award back to the city.
This time, the District Administration is not only gearing up for the ‘Clean city’ title but it is also preparing entire district to be declared as the cleanest.
Ahead of Swachh Survekshan-2018, DC D. Randeep held a preliminary meeting with the officials of Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) and local bodies of all the taluks at his office yesterday and instructed them to achieve 100 percent target of constructing the toilets. Stating that Mysuru city had already been declared as open-defecation-free city, DC Randeep called upon the official of local bodies to make sure the same was achieved in taluks as well which would help in Mysuru scoring good marks.
