Mysuru: Shri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project (SKDRDP)together with Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) had organised a preliminary meeting in the context of Swachh Survekshan-2018 in city recently.
Inaugurating the meeting, H.V. Rajeev, Director, Karnataka State Souharda Sahakara Bank opined that if organisations join hands with the government, the basic problems in society could be easily addressed. He lauded SKDRDP for the service rendered on creating awareness on cleanliness. He said that every citizen should keep his or her house and vicinity clean.
Speaking on the occasion MCC Commissioner G. Jagadeesha said that waste treatment and disposal is being taken up methodically now to ensure a clean environment. He opined that with good awareness and participation of residents, the city can get back the cleanest city tag.
SKDRDP Regional Director A. Srihari, MCC Health Officer Dr. Nagaraj, Swachh Bharath Ambassador D. Madegowda, District Director V. Vijaykumar Naganala and others were present.
