Mysore/Mysuru: A premature baby which was delivered at 28 weeks of pregnancy was treated successfully at Motherhood Women’s and Children’s Hospital at Yadavagiri.
Addressing a press meet in city recently, the Hospital Management said that the baby born to a couple from Nagarle village was retrieved by the transport team from another private hospital.
As the baby was born at 28 weeks of pregnancy, it was admitted in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and treated successfully. After the baby was treated, it was kept under observation and was discharged after four weeks of stay in NICU with no complications.
Experts at the Hospital provided all the necessary treatment to ensure that the baby is safe during its stay.
Motherhood Hospital’s Neonatologists and Paediatricians Dr. Suhaim Afsar and Dr. B. Chethan, Hospital’s Facility Director B.J. Sandeep Patel, baby’s parents Sultana Banu and Sardar Khan were present at the press meet.
