To take part in 1066th Jayanti Mahotsava of Sri Shivarathreeshwara Shivayogi Swamiji
Mandya: President Droupadi Murmu will be visiting Malavalli during the third week of next month (December) to take part in the 1066th Jayanti celebrations of Sri Shivarathreeshwara Shivayogi Swamiji.
In view of her visit, Kanakapura Degula Mutt Junior Pontiff Sri Channabasava Swamiji, MLA P.M. Narendraswamy, DC Dr. Kumara, SP Mallikarjuna Baladandi and other officials conducted an inspection of the proposed place for helipad, stage and among others yesterday.
The programme will be held at the sprawling 33 acre land located in front of Shanthi College in Malavalli, where a stage will be erected with separate arrangements being done for supply of drinking water, food among others. The officials also inspected various spots for construction of helipad near Muganakoppal on Mysuru Road, Nagegowdanadoddi on Kollegal Road and areas coming under Kundur.
Former MLA Dr. K. Annadani, Kundur Rasasiddeshwara Mutt Pontiff Sri Nanjunda Swamiji, Ragibommanahalli Mutt Pontiff Sriprabhu Swamiji, Tahsildar Lokesh, PWD Executive Engineer (EE) H.R. Harsha, Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) Somashekar, Town Panchayat Chief Officer Nagarathna and Akhila Bharata Veerashaiva Mahasabha office-bearers took part.
