Mandya: A Manager of a private company was hacked to death in Mandya at Thoobinakere Industrial area yesterday.
The victim has been identified as 60-year-old Chamegowda, the project manager of Venus Mines and Minerals. He was serving the company since the last two years. According to the Police, the incident occurred late last night and the killers called him from inside his house that was given by the company as official quarters.
After calling him from the quarters, the killers attacked him with lethal weapons and crushed his head with a stone. Chamegowda was working as an engineer in Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) and after retirement, he worked for Venus Mines and Minerals. Mandya Rural Police have registered a case and are on the lookout for the accused.
