Bengaluru: Right To Information (RTI) activist Snehamayi Krishna (in pic.) from Mysuru has filed a PCR (Protection of Civil Rights Act, 1955) complaint (private complaint) in the Special Court for Public Representatives (commonly called MLA/MP Court) in Bengaluru against CM Siddaramaiah, his wife B.M.Parvathi, Mysuru DC, Tahsildar, Sub-Registrar and other officials this morning.
According to reports on TV this morning, the complaint, primarily mentioning Siddaramaiah, is regarding the alleged forging of documents to claim compensation from MUDA. The complaint states that the CM, his wife and the officials colluded to acquire 3.16 acres of land at Devanur-Kesare and created fake documents. Later, the same 3.16-acre land was used to procure 14 sites in Vijayanagar’s Third and Fourth Stages in Mysuru.
Snehamayi Krishna has filed the complaint through advocate Lakshmi Iyengar of Bengaluru and submitted records to substantiate his stance. He has prayed before the Court to prosecute Siddaramaiah and others in the interest of justice. The case is slotted for hearing tomorrow, Aug. 9.
