Prize-winners in Karate

Mysuru: A total 13 students of Manasu Kalamandala, Mysuru and Salluhundi  branches have excelled at the 2nd State-level Open Karate Championship 2022 organised by Anil Martial Arts Academy, Bengaluru, recently. All the 13 students are trained by Sensei Shankar. Details are as follows:

The 8 students of A Manasu Kalamandala, B.M. Sri Nagar, Mysuru (Main Branch), who won medals are: M. Bhuvan – Kata 1st place and Kumite 2nd place (Under-14 Boys category); N. Deeksha – Kata 2nd and Kumite 2nd (U-12 Girls); N. Guru Kiran – Kata 1st and Kumite 2nd (U-15 Boys); Sandeep – Kata 2nd and Kumite 1st (U-11 Boys); Shashank – Kata 2nd and Kumite 2nd (U-14 Boys); M.H. Abhinav – Kata 2nd and Kumite 2nd (U-10 Boys); Yashwanth – Kata 2nd and Kumite 1st (U9 Boys); M. Dhanush – Kata 1st and Kumite 1st (U-12 Boys).

The 5 students of A Basaveshwara Manasu Kalamandala, Salluhundi (Another Branch), are: Yashas – Kata 2nd and Kumite 1st (U-8 Boys); Manya – Kata 1st and Kumite 2nd (U-14 Girls); Raju – Kata 2nd and Kumite 2nd (U-12 Boys); Pranav – Kata 1st and Kumite 2nd (U-12 Boys); Keerthi – Kata 2nd and Kumite 1st (U12 Girls).

A total of 600 students from different places had taken part in this Championship.
