‘Probe irregularities favouring political leaders since 1990s’

Mysore/Mysuru: Social activist Snehamayi Krishna has warned that he will take legal action if the State Government does not order a comprehensive investigation into the alleged MUDA irregularities and corruption dating back to the 1990s.

Speaking at a press conference yesterday, Krishna announced that he has complained to the Lokayukta, requesting an investigation into all MUDA irregularities since the 1990s. He urged the Government to initiate a probe, pointing out that numerous political leaders, officials, and influential individuals have significantly benefited from these irregularities and scams.

Krishna alleged that Chief Minister Siddaramaiah had obtained 14 sites through his family members by creating fake documents, accusing him of direct involvement in the case where his wife, B.M. Parvathi, allegedly acquired land through irregularities.

Krishna claimed to have collected records related to the case and criticised the Chief Minister for challenging the allegations rather than addressing them.

Activist Bhanu Mohan also attended the press meet.
