A grand procession, comprising various folk troupes was taken out as part of Santa Kavi Sarvagna Jayanti celebration organised by the District Administration, Kannada and Culture Department, Mysuru District Kumbara Associations and Sarvagna Jayantotsava Samiti in city this morning. Picture shows Kamsale artistes, elected representatives and the public standing before the chariot with the portrait of poet Sarvagna which passed through the thoroughfares of city before culminating at Kalamandira, where a stage programme was held. The procession was flagged off by Mayor M.J. Ravikumar in front of Kote Anjaneya Swamy Temple in the presence of Basavakumbara Gundaiah Swamiji of Kumbara Guru Peetha, Chitradurga.
