Mysuru: Former Vice-Chancellor of University of Mysore and Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) Prof. K.S. Rangappa, has been invited to give a talk on the topic “Small molecules in cancer therapy: Advances in Drug discovery” at the Laboratory of Advanced Chemical Biology, Frontier Research Centre for Advanced Material and Life Science, Hokkaido University, Japan on Sept. 7.
He will also deliver a special lecture at Department of Pathobiochemistry, Faculty of Pharmacy, Meijo University, Nagoya, on Sept. 9. Prof. Rangappa will interact with various Deans, Professors and Directors of the University there.
During the deliberations, as an Ambassador of Hokkaido University, Prof. Rangappa will have various scientific discussions including collaborations related to research between Hokkaido University and Universities in India, particularly Institutions and Universities in Karnataka.
Prof. Rangappa is a Distinguished Fellow of the The World Academy of Sciences (FTWAS), Italy. The Academy insists to motivate international collaboration on multidisciplinary research.
