Prof. Naveen Kumar takes charge as new Registrar of KSOU

Mysuru: Prof. S.K. Naveen Kumar took charge as the new Registrar (Administration) of the city-based Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) at Mukthagangothri campus yesterday. He replaces Prof. K.B. Praveena.

Prof. Naveen Kumar was serving as a senior faculty of Electronics Department at Mangalore University. Beginning his career as an Electronics Lecturer at University of Mysore, he had also served as a Registrar (Evaluation) at Kuvempu University and acting Registrar (Administration) of the same University.

Speaking to Star of Myosre after assuming charge as the new KSOU Registrar (Administration), Prof. Naveen Kumar said that it is a very responsible position and he has come to know of the shortcomings in the Open University.

Pointing out that he will bring his experience while serving in the Kuvempu University, he said that he would give his best to address the issues bothering the University in the most appropriate manner. His only intention is to do good work and ensure the growth of KSOU, he added.
