Mysore/Mysuru: In recognition of his services to the field of Music, city-based KSGH Music and Performing Arts University has appointed Prof. S.C. Sharma, former Vice-Chancellor of Tumkur University, as a visiting faculty of the Music Varsity. The appointment comes following approval from the Governor, who is the Chancellor of all State-run Universities.
Prof. Sharma, a Karnataka Kalashri awardee, is currently serving as Director of NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council). He had previously served as VC of Swami Vivekananda Technological University at Chhattisgarh. He had also served as Director of Karnataka State Higher Education Council and as faculty of Aerospace Department at Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru.
