Prof. Thibbanna Shankar (Tiger Shankar), retired English Professor, Maharani’s Arts College and proprietor of Shankarananda Rice Mills on New Sayyaji Rao Road, passed away on Aug. 23 in city. He was 85.
A resident of Gokulam, he leaves behind his wife, two sons and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were held at Chirashanthidhama in Gokulam this afternoon, according to family sources.
