Sir,
This serious issue of non-clearance of garbage dumped on General Thimayya Road near Hanuman Temple and Vivekananda Yoga Training Institute at Vijayanagar Second Stage needs urgent attention. Many students and children of the yoga institute, Chikkamma Government High School, St. Joseph’s School and Sadvidya Semi Residential School travel daily and also walk on this road.
The garbage thrown right beside the road attracts lot of insects, flies and mosquitoes which breed in the waste heap and thereafter linger around children causing serious health hazards and badly affecting the immunity of children.
It is a matter of concern for many parents and residents in this area as garbage disposal is completely ignored by the Mysuru City Corporation. Therefore, our request is to provide two garbage disposal bins on General Thimmaiah Road near Hanuman Temple and Vivekananda Yoga Training Institute. Secondly, garbage collection must be done daily.
