Puttadevamma (72), former Gram Panchayat member and a resident of Murudagalli village in the taluk, passed away on Jan. 24 at the village.
She leaves behind her husband Chamundappa, three sons, three daughters and a host of relatives and friends.
Last rites were held at the village on Jan. 25.
