Puttarajappa (84), a retired Sericulture Inspector and a resident of the town, passed away following age-related ailments on Sunday in the town.
He leaves behind his wife Sathyaprema, two sons, one daughter and a host of relatives and friends.
Last rites were held at Malavalli Crematorium.
