Mysore/Mysuru: BJP MLC C.T. Ravi has dared Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to tender his resignation and face the probe pertaining to the allegations of irregularities in the 50:50 site allotment scheme of Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA), under which Siddaramaiah’s wife B.M Parvathi was allotted 14 sites in prime locality.
Addressing media persons at City BJP office in Chamarajapuram this morning, Ravi demanded that Chief Minister Siddaramaiah should quit his office, owning moral responsibility and facilitate impartial probe into the allegations.
The probe should be handed over either to a sitting Supreme Court or High Court Judge or Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
“If Karnataka has to be cleansed from corruption, you should set a precedent by stepping down as CM. However, it is left to you whether to resign as ‘Corrupt’ or ‘Clean CM,” said Ravi, who charged the Chief Minister, of having an unholy nexus with the racketeers in advance, which was evident with the then MUDA Chairman switching side to Congress.
