R. Narayanarao (90), a retired Health Inspector and a resident of Muthayya Layout of the town, passed away on Friday.
He leaves behind his wife, son C.N. Vijay, a Journalist and a host of relatives and friends.
Last rites were performed at his farmland at Naralapura village in Periyapatna taluk this afternoon, according to family sources.
